About this Event
New Year, New Spine is a 5-hour Feldenkrais®️ workshop featuring four Awareness Through Movement®️ classes, each taught by the diverse London Feldenkrais Collective team.
Together, these four sessions will explore the many ways the spine can bend, extend, soften, and rotate to support us in our daily movements: lying, sitting, walking and beyond! How can sharing effort along the whole spine reduce strain and increase comfort?
These guided movement lessons will be interwoven with time for reflection and questions.
The workshop is suitable for everyone, and is especially beneficial for people experiencing back pain, those who spend long hours sitting, and those who want to improve mobility, coordination, and resilience for the year ahead. Come as you are, move at your own pace, and leave with practical awareness you can carry into 2026!
