Join us for a West Coast Swing Workshop and Dance Party!
So far 2026 has given us a workshop from Raechel and Shanon on dancing to blues, and dancing to slow music. There's one more to go in their genre series and they've saved the best for last on August 1 at En Beat Studio! Or they've procrastinated as far as they can possibly manage, which is also possible.
There are two critical factors to dancing to fast music, and if you're really good at one of them you can get away with being a bit less good at the other. Those factors are:
1) Technique and timing.
2) Cardio.
They know our audience, and their audience knows them. If cardio were our thing we'd be a running club instead of a dancing club, and if we were a running club we'd be very unlikely to have any of the snacks we all secretly come to the parties for. So come and join us fellow sloth-like couch-potatoes and learn all the important tricks to keeping up with those breakneck songs and not needing to sit the next two songs out to recover! 🙂
