About this Event

Pelican Island Audubon Society (PIAS) is offering an introduction to birding class being taught by Alexis Peralta. This is a hybrid course broken into four days that includes classroom and field activity. No supplies required.

Course Schedule 2026:

November 14 - 8:30AM - 2:30PM

November 21 - 8:30AM - 11:30AM

December 5 - 8:30AM - 11:30AM

December 12 - 8:30AM - 11:30AM

About the course instructor: Alexis Peralta has been an avid bird nerd since 2017. For ten years she has educated children and adults about the environment in her professional career and receives the most joy and fulfillment from watching people learn to appreciate nature.
