Join The Conservation Volunteers for a workshop covering how to facilitate nature wellbeing activities with all audiences throughout the winter months.
The training will explore the following topics.
- Embracing the elements – adapting activities for weather conditions
- Making the outdoors more accessible in winter weather
- Bringing the outdoors inside
- Expect the unexpected - flexibility and preparation
- Supporting audiences from a variety of backgrounds
Some elements of this training will be outdoors so please dress for the weather.
This session is aimed at any voluntary sector, community group or activity provider looking to deliver or currently delivering outdoor or nature based activities, particularly focused on using nature activities to improve participants health and wellbeing.
This session is delivered as part of the Green Social Prescribing Learning Network facilitated by City of Trees.
