Workshop: Acrylic EncausticsInstructor: Robin Popp
Dates: August 23-24 @ 10 am to 4 pm
Do you love the look and feel of encaustic, but not the dangers of working with toxic materials? These same effects can safely be achieved through using different acrylic mediums and techniques.
Join artist Robin Popp as she explores the many possibilities of acrylics and layering techniques with some unexpected materials added in too! Students will make a series of small canvases with these techniques all the while enjoying the freedom of safe materials. No drawing experience required, just come and have fun!
Price: $375 ($350 for ESAC Members)
For the Acrylic Encaustic workshop, students should bring at least four to six 4×4 chunky canvases. We will be working on multiple canvases at the same time. All other supplies are included, but students are encouraged to bring all types of paper and ephemera that they would like to include.
