Workshop: 2026 Great Southeast Pollinator Census at Trees Atlanta

Join Trees Atlanta and UGA for the 2026 Great Southeast Pollinator Census and help turn a simple observation into meaningful community science. In this hands-on workshop, we’ll count pollinators in Trees Atlanta’s ethnobotany garden; collect real census data to support researchers studying pollinator populations; and spend time with local bees, butterflies, flies, and other pollinators that help keep Atlanta blooming. The Great Southeast Pollinator Census is a University of Georgia Project launched in 2017. Today it is open to residents of Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi. The goals of the project are to create sustainable pollinator habitat, increase the entomological literacy of our citizens, and generate useful data about our pollinator population.
