About this Event
WorkReady Alberta: Building Confidence, Careers & Workplace Inclusion
Workshop 1: Navigating Workplace Racism in Alberta
Your career deserves a clear path forward.
Join us for the first session of WorkReady Alberta, a free four-part workshop series designed to support racialized Albertans, newcomers, internationally trained professionals, Indigenous job seekers, entrepreneurs, and individuals seeking employment or career growth.
This interactive workshop explores systemic and individual forms of workplace racism in Alberta and how they can affect workplace experiences and career opportunities. Through facilitated discussions, practical examples, and reflection activities, participants will build awareness, develop shared language, and strengthen their ability to recognize common microaggressions and discriminatory practices in employment settings.
