About this Event

ABOUT THE TRAINING

We have seen an increase in the number of individuals who have become more disruptive and confrontational, and less civil and tolerant in their interactions with public officials, co-workers, and the public in general. This training empowers managers, supervisors, and coworkers to communicate and resolve concerns and issues before they get taken out of context. It will provide participants with the necessary tools and skills to convey their message effectively and respectfully. Participants will learn specific techniques to de-escalate situations that may become intense before they get out of hand.

This is a 4-hour classroom presentation on de-escalation situational awareness and mindset to deal with intense encounters, including the methodology of communications skills. This class involves demonstrated scenarios.
