About this Event
The Dallas Jackals (Dallas Rugby team) and MVP would like to invite you to a special afternoon and evening of events!
The Jackals have extended a special invitation to MVP members for a workout with Dallas’ own professional Rugby team. We are looking for members that can attend the workout and the game for the evening of May 21st. They have also asked us to do the honors of holding the flag on the field during the National Anthem. Attendees and their families will learn rugby skills from the players before the evening's festivities begin for the Military and First Responders Appreciation Night at Choctaw Stadium.
There are a limited number of spots available, members can bring immediate family or another Veteran or First Responder.

Dallas Jackals:
The Dallas Jackals are a professional rugby team of Major League Rugby (MLR), the highest level of rugby competition in North America. The Jackals were named as an expansion team in 2020 and will play their inaugural season in 2022 at Choctaw Stadium (former home of the Texas Rangers).
The team’s central mission is to develop domestic talent to a world-class level of play and professionalism while strengthening the high-performance pathway in DFW by supporting the local clubs. Through proactive Community Outreach, the Jackals will exemplify and spread the passion of rugby by inspiring tradition, respect, family, and character on and off the pitch.
Merging Vets and Players:
Merging Vets & Players was founded in 2015 as a non-profit that aims to bring together combat veterans and former professional athletes to help them find purpose, identity, and the locker room again when the uniform comes off. MVP now has chapters in seven cities across the US (Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York, and Seattle) that meet in the gym on a weekly basis. After getting a workout in as a group, vets and athletes alike recover on the wrestling mats and engage in what they call The Huddle, which, at its core, is a peer-to-peer coaching session where vulnerability is encouraged.
