Our annual Working Woods open-house is FREE and for EVERYONE! Our day will feature:
- Guided tours through the woods of management demonstrations at 9am & 1pm
- Take home materials
- Opportunities to talk with regional natural resource professionals including representatives from ODNR, consulting foresters at Holden Forests & Gardens, and more!
Guided tours through the woods will focus on:
- 6-year-old timber harvest site
- Edge feathering
- Wildlife habitat improvements
- American Chestnut plantings
- Forest Farming
- Forest pests & pathogens
- Invasive plant management
- Timber stand improvement
