About this Event
Are you a food and beverage entrepreneur looking for resources to support and grow your business? Join us for this collaborative workshop with Allies for Community Business (A4CB) and The Hatchery Chicago, organizations dedicated to supporting small business owners in the food industry.
In this session, you’ll learn:
- Food & Beverage Incubation: How The Hatchery supports food entrepreneurs through shared kitchen space, technical training, and a thriving community of makers.
- Partnership Pathways: Ways your business can tap into the organizations to build capacity, streamline operations, and expand market reach.
This workshop is designed for food and beverage entrepreneurs who want to understand the ecosystem of support available in Chicago, and how to leverage these resources for long-term success.
Facilitator: Brad McConnell, Chief Executive Officer of Allies for Community Buisness
Brad McConnell brings three decades of financial and economic development experience to his role. Prior to his role at A4CB, he served as Chief Operating Officer at the City of Chicago’s Department of Planning and Development, and before that he served as Economic Policy Advisor to Illinois Senator Dick Durbin in Washington. Previous assignments included supporting small business bankers in Chicago as Vice President at LaSalle Bank (now Bank of America), and leading strategy, process, and technology projects in the US and Europe at Accenture.
