About this Event
Please note: To join this workshop you or your business needs to reside within one of the following GM local authorities: Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Manchester, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside or Trafford, Wigan.
You also need to be: The owner of a business OR an aspiring entrepreneur with a business idea you want to develop.
To ensure we have the correct information, please fill out the Generator Registration Form, or bring one of the following forms of identification with you to the workshop:
- Your National Insurance (NI) number – if you have not yet registered a business
- Your Companies House registration number or Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) – if you have registered a company with Companies House or are self-employed/sole trader registered with HMRC
Kindly note that we may not be able to admit you to the workshop without this information, so we strongly encourage you to have it ready on the day.

Session summary:
Most entrepreneurs don’t have a time management problem - they have a prioritisation problem.
In this interactive workshop, you’ll learn practical frameworks to focus on what matters most, overcome procrastination, align your daily actions with your longer-term goals, and explore simple AI tools to work smarter without burning out.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Differentiate between key priorities and secondary or reactive tasks, using a structured prioritisation approach
- Develop an actionable plan, including the application of practical techniques to plan and manage my time, attention, and energy more effectively
- Demonstrate increased self‑awareness of working patterns and identify personal focus or productivity challenges
- Identify and select practical tools and boundaries to support more sustainable ways of working and avoid or manage burnout
