Whether you are competing or looking to supplement your training, Working Equitation is an incredibly interesting, fun, friendly and versatile sport.
It consists of three phases, a dressage test, ease of handling (a marked test whilst completing the obstacles) and a speed round whilst completing the obstacles. The obstacles are fun and give you a chance to desensitise your horse or to show off your horsemanship skills. The obstacles may include a bridge, gate, livestock pen, slalom, cup swap, rein-back bell, side-pass pole, a jump and barrels.
Sharlotte Hughes is an approved Working Equitation Instructor. Fully insured, DBS checked and first aid trained. Experienced instructor working with horses and riders at all levels and actively competing in working equitation.
