Working Equitation Schooling Show & Clinic Fall 2021 (Closing Date Sept 21st)
About this Event

Wild at Heart Ranch is proud to bring another Working Equitation Schooling Show & Clinic to Georgia from September 25-26 This is a special event for us as we dedicate the show to a dear friend of the WHR community, Debbie Auld, who we recently lost to cancer. Debbie had a kind and courageous heart. She not only took in many animals over the years but always volunteered to support us as our dedicated show secretary. Therefore, we are happy to announce that a portion of the proceeds from this show will be donated to her animal rescue "D&L Rescue Ranch and Sanctuary". We are excited for this opportunity and appreciate your support.

This event starts on Saturday with an optional clinic held by Heather Walters "L" judge. Followed by the show on Sunday. We will be offering three phases of competition - Dressage, Ease of Handling, and Speed Trial Rounds. All judged and designed by Walters. Open to participants from intro to intermediate levels. Looking for 20 entries for Sunday as well as participants for Saturday's clinic. Clinic is 1.5 hours long and a group setting (3 participants per group). Show participants get priority in clinic. However, given there is availability, there is option to sign up for clinic only (audit option available as well).

All registrations will be handled online and are required for each horse and rider combination. Such must be completed with payment received by closing date (September 21st). Cost to participate in show is $75 or $100 depending on level, clinic is $75, and to audit clinic only is $25. Participation in show and/or clinic requires an office fee of $25 (does not apply if you are auditing clinic only). Option also available to rent a dry lot pen ($20) or stall ($25) for overnight or day use (limited availability). Note payment is not handled through Eventbrite but collected separately via Venmo or PayPal.

Spectators - it is open to the public, no registration or payment required if only coming to enjoy the show.

Volunteers - no registration or payment required but contact us at email listed below if interested if helping us run the show.

For information on the requirements of the different levels and the required dressage tests for each level, go to: http://www.weunited.us/working-equitation-dressage-tests/

This is a schooling show, therefore, proper attire is encouraged but not required. We will follow the WE United guidelines as closely as possible as the host facility allows.

Refund / Cancellation Policy: We follow standard show policy. No refunds will be provided unless your horse is lame in which a veterinarian report must be provided. Does not apply to individuals that are only registering for auditing the clinic. Similarly, if you do not pay by the closing date, your order will be cancelled.

Thank you for your participation. Feel free to contact us at [email protected] with any questions.
