WorkForce Week: Livable Wage Programs We Should Know About

So many great programs exist to help those who want to better provide for themselves and their families; however, we have to do a better job of getting the word out. That is why we launched WorkForce Week to occur on the 2nd week of each month on Tuesday's and Thursday's.

We will start with the passionate change agent, Jed Silver,
Program Manager for the Workforce Development Board of Contra Costa County. On the Tuesday of the 2nd Week of each month, he is going to inform us about the free Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Training Program in Contra Costa County.

We are working on securing a second partner for Thursday informational session.
