Overview: This is an in-person networking opportunity and orientation/overview of WorkSource Oregon, the state's public workforce system, and the local workforce system partners serving Clackamas County.

Participants will gain a better understanding of the federal and state entities governing workforce system services; WorkSource Oregon's structure and governance; the partner agencies and programs available in Clackamas County and how partner agencies work together to meet the needs of local jobseekers and employers.

Participants should expect to learn more about:

- The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)

- The America's Job Centers Network

- Worksource Oregon and services for individuals and employers

- Clackamas County Workforce System Partners and WorkSource Clackamas

- An opportunity to network with other event participants

Registration for this event will be limited to 25 people. A virtual opportunity will be offered in February 2025.

W ho should attend?
Newly hired staff members operating as part of the local system of partners, including those working on-site at WorkSource Clackamas and those working at other locations.

Misc Information:
There is free parking on Center Street, located behind the WSC facility. Refreshments will be provided.
