Workers Memorial Day Ceremony 2024

Our Workers Memorial Day is dedicated to all workers who have lost their lives due to work related incidents or illnesses. We honor the memory of those lost over the past year, and all those lost in years before. All workers have the essential right to come home safely each day, and to continue to advocate for that right.

Please join Director Ronald G. Rios and the Middlesex County Board of County Commissioners once again to observe Workers Memorial Day, on Friday, April 26th at 11:00 a.m. at the entrance of the Health & Life Science Exchange (Helix) site on Paterson Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.

The names of workers lost in 2023-24 will be read aloud in remembrance, and a blessing and music will be part of the presentation. Please join us in paying tribute to our fallen workers and reminding our community of the importance of practicing safety standards. Please join us and help to build a safe and healthier workplace.
