Equality Mural Project of Atascadero presents a night of outdoor music and film with local hip hop funk band Wordsauce and award-winning independent film Alice Street. 6-9 pm.
Outdoor concert and movie, bring low back lawn chairs. Tickets $10 in advance, or $15 at the door. All proceeds fund the painting of murals in Atascadero's downtown arts district. Purchase tickets through Eventbrite. Doors 6 pm, live music 6:30 pm, discussion with Alice Street director Spencer Wilkinson and Equality Mural Project 7:30, film at 8:15. Everyone is invited to an after-party at Raconteur Room within walking distance starting at 9:30 pm.
The Atascadero Printery is two blocks east of Sunken Gardens at 6351 Olmeda.
Alice Street, run time 67 minutes, is an award-winning independent documentary featuring a thriving arts community in Oakland, California whose mural and cultural center was threatened by urban gentrification. The film is a rallying cry to support public art.

Food will be for sale with proceeds going to The Atascadero Printery Foundation. Beer and wine available for purchase with proceeds going to Equality Mural Project. Coffee will be available for purchase by Kin Coffee.
