Words Over War: A Student Concert for Peace
El Puente’s Vocal Program proudly presents “Words Over War: A Student Concert for Peace,” this year’s annual concert celebrating the voices, musical artistry, and visions of our talented young artists. The program is the culmination of months of vocal study, artistic exploration, and collective inquiry.
Through a program of solo voice and choral ensemble performances, vocal students from the El Puente Academy for Peace and Justice, Williamsburg Leadership Center, and M.S. 50 El Puente Community School will explore themes of resilience, justice, and peace. Rooted in El Puente’s mission of nurturing youth leadership for peace and justice, this concert is both a call to action and a joyful celebration of community, creativity, and student advocacy.
