Hear inspiring stories and insights about his work, life and creative passion, then listen as he plays some rare musical instruments. Before Michael’s talk, there will also be a tour of the Don Bank Museum with our volunteer guide from 3 - 3.45pm, followed by afternoon tea.

About the presenter

Michael Atherton is an iconic multi-instrumentalist, composer, author and professor. A pioneer in Australian music, he has earned some of the highest distinctions in arts and education: a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, an Emeritus Professor, as well as a Member of the Order of Australia.
