After the success of our October event, join Words for Wellbeing for another exciting evening of poetry, featuring an assortment of featured readings from fabulous local performers and friends of the group, a section dedicated to Bournemouth’s latest poetry blossoms, plus six five-minute open mic slots for anyone who also wants to perform. The readings will be located in the art studio space on the first floor above the Goat and Tricycle pub in Bournemouth Triangle (the stairway can be accessed through the beer garden). This is a charity event to promote creativity and wellbeing in the local community. Hosted by C.W. Blackburn, with co-hosting from Phoenix Ford, Peter John Cooper and Mike Jenkins.
All funds raised from the reading will be donated to Bournemouth Samaritans.
Free entry (£5 suggested donation, or whatever you can afford)
7.30pm til late (10.30pm approx.) – Doors Open 7pm
There will be one twenty-five-minute intermission.

SECOND-HAND BOOK STALL
There will be a table at the event to donate any old poetry/writing/spiritual/self-help books you’re looking to part with. All books will be sold for £1-2 and the money raised will go towards the charity collection. If you have any books you’d like to donate, please contact C.W. to check there will be room. If books go unsold, you are free to take back what you brought at the end of the event, or C.W. will arrange to donate them to a local charity shop.
