Since March of this year, The Anderson has secretly become the new home for one of Miami's longest-running, Most Popular Wednesday night, grassroots open mics, Words and Wine. June 30th, despite losing their opportunity to celebrate their 10th Anniversary to the pandemic, they are ready and excited to invite Miami audiences and artists alike back to enjoy the festivities of their 11th Anniversary.
Words and Wine Open Mic has been all over the great city of Miami since 2010, setting up camp from venue to venue, offering local performers of all disciplines (and even some traveling national artists) a stage, a mic, and an audience with a loving reception to any and all who will brave the stage to share the art in their hearts with others.
From Stand-up Comedians to Poets and Spoken Word Artists, Classical Guitarists, Live Painters, Fire-Dancers, Singer-Songwriters, Full Bands, Story-Tellers, Shamans, Drummers, Violinists, Horn Players, Performance Artists, Modern & Jazz Dancers, the Words and Wine has STAGED THEM ALL, and always with open arms, open minds, and open hearts.
The Anderson offers a hidden oasis with a laid-back ambiance nestled just off the corner of NE 7th Ave and 79th Street, a mere two blocks East of Biscayne Blvd. The venue offers a variety of spots inside or outside to chill and kick back with your choice of drink, food, and live
entertainment.

Live Drum Circle Jam + Mama W&W: Nikki Bravo's return.
Open Mic List goes out at 8:00pm - Performances at 9:00pm - Featured Act at 10:30pm.
List Goes On till the Last Performer Does Their Thing – 9:00pm till 2:00am. With Special Guests featuring EVERY WEEK. Drum Circle and Open Jams – 7pm – 10pm outside.
