This comedy night is an intersectional attempt by a Queer POC producer herself to pass the mic & expand the vibrant, diverse international English comedy scene in Berlin even further and create a safer, inclusive, paid, accessible and a fun stage for BIPOC and/or Queer artists with different comedy styles to share their craft. It is also a space to experiment and play with different genres of comedy like - musical comedy, improv comedy, storytelling comedy, sketch comedy, satirical spoken word and stand up comedy to name a few.
NEW LINEUP EVERY MONTH! This month featuring:
Hosted By Anshita Koul Berlin based, internationally touring and critically acclaimed independent standup comedian Anshita Koul from India. Anshita is also the co-founder of Clit Comedy Club and Festrogen Comedy Festival in Luxembourg. When she is not touring, they are performing, headlining, hosting and producing multiple comedy shows in Berlin under the collective Overthink Comedy Club.
Seen on the Indian reality TV show Queens of Comedy 2017, Funny Women Stage Awards 2022 in the UK, opening act for Emmy Award Winner Vir Das’s European tour 2024, and most recently performing her award-winning show off-broadway as part of a 2 weeks residency at SoHo Playhouse NYC, Anshita has created a name for themselves in the English comedy scene in Europe and beyond for creating intentional, political and thriving comedy spaces. And they like to lead by example with their political satires, punch up routines and a funny itch to decolonise standup comedy.

Beril (Open spot) hails from Turkey and is based in Berlin. Her narratives are mostly on transgender plants, transgender aliens and transgender… Well you get the point. Prefers to make people cry rather than laugh, so there is a bit of a mismatch between her and comedy. But being a Gen Z makes her so indecisive about life choices that she just keeps doing it. Even co-producing Berlin’s most chaotic comedy show, Micro Missions!
Shams : sassy, nasty, and extra halal spicy. A Syrian with other troubling identities and the audacity to be them all. Storyteller, teacher, and advocate for queer and women* rights. Shams turns identity crises into punchlines and trauma into tight fives.
Anaita Azizi is a Berlin-based comedian, writer, and podcast host best known for Change of Plans—a show that mixes humor and reflection on career pivots and life’s unpredictable turns. A regular in Berlin’s comedy scene, she brings the same wit and warmth from her podcast to the stage, turning chaos and reinvention into laughter and connection. She is also the host of Comedy Retrograde, a one-of-a-kind comedy variety show where Berlin’s funniest comedians collide with tarot, intuition, and a touch of chaos magic.
Daddypuss Rex is a comedian, an artist and the tricky transsexual that your mother and right wing politicians warned you about
