Save the date! RGS the grange PTA summer ball fundraiser ... Saturday 5th July 2025 7pm - 12 (over 18s only) £80pp / £60pp for staff ... #worcesterisgreen reduce, reuse, recycle ... open to all four RGS family of schools
Taking the lead from the passions of our RGS children the theme this year is our school tag line "worcester is green" ...
Dress code ... think upcycling your accessories, buying your dress preloved from Vinted or wearing a green dickie bow!
After the success and enjoyment of the 'Barbieland ball' parents have asked for the next ball to be advertised as soon as possible ... so here we are! Live music, welcome drink, dance the night away in a sustainable way!
The usual format, please have a lead booker for your group of 10 or 12 (smaller groups welcome, we can team you up with other parents) and transfer your payment to the RGS the Grange PTA school account
As ever this is YOUR ball so, how can you help?
- volunteer before, during or after the event for an hour or few to set up and close down
- share you knowledge or expertise in anything that may help with the organisation or running of the event
- provide a voucher, product or experience for the auction
- main sponsor of the event £500
- table sponsors x25 £100 each
- printing sponsor £250
1) Please liaise with your friends and family to organise a table of 10 or 12 people and you’re your lead person to take their payments. Do not worry if you are not a full table, we can pair people up to create a table if needed.
2) The lead person should transfer the full amount for their table (£800 or £960) to the RGS The Grange PTA bank account sort code 40-47-17 account 12831341 before 30th April.
3) Text / WhatsApp Jennifer Barnes (parent organising the ball) on 07712649091 when paid with the names of your party and any allergies or dietary requirements.
4) Nearer the time the lead person will be asked to send pre-order requirements for champagne, prosecco and wine (red, white, or rose) for your table. There will also be specialist local drinks and cocktails available on the night in the outdoor pop-up bar area.
5) Plan your outfit for the ball … awards for the best outfits!
