Mrs Horrocks’ class of seven year olds is in the final stages of preparing the annual Nativity at Flint Street Primary School. But all is not hunky dory in Mrs Horrocks' class - rivalries simmer and friendships rollercoaster throughout. Two girls go head to head to secure the envied role of Mary, Herod just wants to play Question of Sport, while a buzzing Star of Bethlehem is desperate to prove that he is as brave as the rogue Innkeeper... and then Peter Crouch, the stick insect, escapes!
