Looking for fun things to do in Branxton? A felted beanie/hat making workshop sounds like a great creative activity!In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn the art of felting and create your own unique felted hat. You'll start with a ball of wool and with the guidance of an experienced instructor, you will learn to shape, roll and mould it into a beautiful and functional hat.
You'll learn various felting techniques, such as layering, shaping, and decorating, to create a one-of-a-kind piece.
You will also learn to create a flower embelishment for your created piece of art!
Create a functional and decorative felted hat
Learn the basics of felting, including materials, tools, and techniques
Understand how to shape, layer, and decorate your felted hat
Create felted flower as add on to your hat/beanie
By the end of the class, you can take home your finished hat and the skills to create more felted projects!
Note
Class takes typically 3-4 hours, depending on the complexity of the project and the pace of the participants

Felting is a hands on experience and it includes bit of a upper body workout.
I will provide morning tea and you can bring some light lunch if you get hungry.
