Woofie's® of South Tampa Premier Pet Care Yappy Hour & Grand Opening Event

Woofie’s of South Tampa has launched premier pet care services for dogs cats and other animals serving pet owners on the peninsula from the airport to MacDill Airforce base Westshore to Bayshore and everything in between. Woofie’s of South Tampa is partnering with the Humane Society of Tampa Bay to celebrate its grand opening by hosting a “Yappy Hour” at the Humane Society’s new facilities on Thursday May 15th from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm. A ribbon cutting will be held at 6 pm with the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce.

Woofie’s of South Tampa offers a wide range of personalized pet care services including dog walking grooming via its mobile pet spa and daytime as well as overnight pet sitting and other services for all types of pets including dogs cats parakeets rabbits and others. Woofie’s also has access to 24/7 vet telehealth services through a collaboration with Pet Vet Connection to help give pet owners peace of mind.

Owner Danielle Krueger a 20-year resident of the area who formerly worked in healthcare as a surgical technician and as an executive director of operations in private healthcare organizations and surgery centers has been rescuing or fostering pups as a volunteer with the Humane Society of Tampa Bay for nearly 20 years as well. Danielle says she worked with a business broker for several months to find the right business opportunity.

The Yappy Hour will be held at 3607 N. Armenia Ave Tampa FL 33607 in the atrium and courtyard with the Woofie’s mobile van outside. Families and leashed dogs are welcome. During the event Woofie’s of South Tampa will demonstrate its mobile spa van and service capabilities and will offer a free raffle with a gift basket that includes a certificate for a free groom. Food and drink offerings will include tasty bites from a charcuterie artist as well as beer and wine for adults; Woofie’s-branded M&Ms® for kids; and organic dog treats for pups while time and supplies permit. The Humane Society will bring out adoptable dogs for an hour; anyone who adopts a dog during the event will receive a coupon for a free bath from Woofie’s of South Tampa. There will be a backdrop available for family and fur-baby photos plus live music and games for children to play.
