Join us for an afternoon of verse, voice, and community on Sunday, July 12 at 2 p.m. in the Woody Guthrie Center theater, as we welcome the return of the annual Woody Poets Reading. This event is the finale of the three-night tour across Oklahoma, beginning in Oklahoma City, continuing through Okemah, and culminating in Tulsa.

First convened in 2005 at the invitation of the annual Woody Guthrie Folk Festival, the Woody Poets come together each year during the festival to celebrate and carry on the legacy of Woody Guthrie through words of wisdom, collective liberation, and rebellion.
