Join our hands-on woodworking workshop at the Engineering Academy @ Oakland Technical High School and dive into the rewarding process of creating something beautiful and functional from scratch.

Whether you choose to craft a classic Adirondack chair or bring your own vision to life, we provide all the necessary materials, protective equipment, and tools.

Guided by Mr. Baena, an instructor at the Engineering Academy, you'll learn the fundamentals of woodworking, including safety, tool use, milling, joinery, and finishing techniques.

No prior experience? No problem! We welcome all skill levels to explore the art of woodworking and leave with a creation they're proud to show off.

This workshop is a perfect blend of skill-building and creative expression, set in a supportive community environment.
