Malmstens Alumni would like to invite you to a symposium on Woodworking Tools & Techniques - Past, Present & Future, in collaboration with Skokloster Castle and Malmstens Linköping University.The symposium aims to bring together a diverse group of professionals with the common denominator wood, including art historians, cabinetmakers, conservators, designers and artisans. The ambition is to cover historical, theoretical, technical and design-related aspects. What can we learn from old tools? How do woodworking techniques influence design? What are the tools and techniques of the future?
The symposium includes two days of lectures, two days of excursions including Skokloster Castle and Malmstens Linköping University and a dinner.
