During this event, our expert instructors will share their knowledge and demonstrate various finishing techniques, including brushed, rolled, and spraying. You'll learn how to choose the right finish for different types of wood and how to apply it like a pro.
We will cover most common mistakes and frustrations for all techniques how to properly prep your wood for various finish types.
In this class we will review:
-Stains
-Oil/Wax Finishes
-Water Based and Oil Based Urethanes
-Varnish/Laquers
-Shellac and Rubbed Finished
-Application and Prep Techniques
-Pre/During/Post Sanding
Get hands-on experience as you practice these techniques on sample projects provided. Our instructors will be available to answer your questions and provide personalized guidance. In the event that we do not have at least 50% class registration up to 3 days before a class is scheduled to begin, we reserve the right to cancel the class. We try our best not to do this, but our classes are fairly innexpensive and we cannot justify the cost of teaching most of them with only a few people present. You will be notified and refunded 100% if this happens.
