Ladies to the front of the line! Here's your chance to show everyone that woodworking is universal and can be fun and educational as well. Learn all the safety and basics of woodworking in this women-only class! You will make a laminated cutting board and while you are at it be introduced to the woodshop using many different hand and power tools. The emphasis will be on safety and on becoming comfortable using power tools. Come join Sarah as she shows you that women can be great woodworkers too! This is a comprehensive 6 hour class with a 30 minute lunch break. All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions Apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation. All woodworking classes are held in a store that sells a wide variety of woods, including exotic woods such as cedar, aromatic cedar and other products (e.g., finishes, cleaners, etc.) that may cause allergic or other reactions in a small number of cases. Each student should carefully consider their health and reaction to products around them when signing up for this or any of the Rockler woodworking classes. Considering a 1-on-1 Private Instruction?
