Woodsong Summer Concert – RESPECT! A Tribute to the Queen of Soul

Respect! A Tribute to the Queen of Soul is a tribute group that features a 10 piece orchestra fronted by the incomparable Rockford native, Da’Quela “Cookie” Payne. Respect! pays homage to the music of the late great, Aretha Franklin. The show features such Aretha classics as Think, Chain of Fools, Never Loved a Man, Dr. Feelgood, and many more! Don’t miss your chance to see this Vegas style tribute act perform! You’ll swear that the Queen left behind a little bit of herself in Cookie so that she can carry on the torch!

Klehm’s Woodsong Concerts are lawn-style events held in our beautiful Fountain Garden, meaning there are no reserved seats and attendees should plan to bring their own blankets, chairs or other seating. Attendees are welcome to bring their own food and drink to enjoy in a responsible manner prior to and during the concert. Gates open at 4PM for concert attendees.
