Woodshop Safety for Women
Learn all about the most common power tools and make your own tool caddy! Working with woodworking machines can be dangerous without proper training, and our course provides the essential knowledge and hands-on instruction needed to operate tools safely and effectively.
Following the nationally recognized Woodwork Career Alliance (WCA) skill standards curriculum, this course ensures that participants are trained to industry standards in woodworking safety. Students will receive one-on-one support from an experienced instructor as they learn the safe and correct operation of a variety of woodworking machines. In addition to hands-on practice, students will take home a comprehensive safety manual as a future reference guide.
Upon successful completion of the safety exam, participants will receive an official safety certification by mail and will build and take home a tool caddy, reinforcing their newly acquired skills. This certification course is an invaluable investment in safety, skill development, and professional growth. Whether you are a beginner looking to start woodworking or an experienced craftsperson looking to refine your skills, this course will ensure that you meet the highest safety standards in the industry.
