Woodrow's of Edinburgh Charity Whisky Tasting

After a self-imposed hiatus due to becoming fathers, we're back in November for another unique tasting in Belfast which will feature one of Scotland's most popular Independent Bottlers, Woodrow's of Edinburgh! Launched in 2022, they have released over 25 single malt whiskies with a strong focus on single cask, cask strength bottlings.

This tasting will be slightly different, though, as we're going to be welcoming Woodrow's very own founders, Woody and Megan, to spend the evening talking us through some of their whiskies. They will kindly be pouring 6 drams in 25ml tasting measures, and talking us through each whisky whilst sharing the story of Woodrow's.

This tasting will be a non-profit event and all proceeds after costs will be donated to Lighthouse Charity who are based in North Belfast (https://lighthousecharity.com/). They are an organisation committed to the prevention of suicide and self-harm; the promotion of positive mental health and the provision of support services to families who have been bereaved due to suicide.

We will also be running a charity raffle on the night with some fantastic prizes including a signed copy of whisky writer and consultant, David Stirk's recent book, Pioneering Spirits: A Tour of Scotland's 21st Century Distilleries, a few bottles of whisk(e)y and other items to be announced.

We're really excited for the evening - if you've not tried any Woodrow's bottlings then this is a fantastic opportunity to do so, and, if you have, then you'll not want to miss out. Plus, it's all for a wonderful cause!

- 6 x 25ml measures per person

- Each attendee will receive Single Cask Whiskies which are all Natural Colour and Non-Chill Filtered.

- All Whiskies at this tasting are Cask Strength. Please Drink Responsibly.

- Tables by group: just let us know who you are coming along with and we will set up your table to reflect this.
