Paul's presentation, based upon his new book "Woodpecker: A Year in the Life of North American Woodpeckers", will examine the behaviors and habitat needs of the 43 species found in Canada, the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean Islands. Through more than 200 intimate yet dynamic photos and videos along with evocative text and the latest science he explores their courtship, nesting, gaining of independence and survival during the winter. Paul's live presentation will take advantage of the unparalleled large screen, acoustics and atmosphere of Seattle's Town Hall.
