MEET THE COMEDIANS
Our headliner Carla Clay appeared in the movie “Purple Onion” and on Byron Allen’s “Comics Unleashed.” She is a favorite at the San Francisco and Sacramento Punchline clubs and has also performed at Marshalls Women in Comedy and Edinburgh Comedy Festival in the UK. From the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles to Rooster T. Feathers in Sunnyvale, Carla has audiences everywhere in stitches with her frank delivery and hilarious storytelling.

Loren Kraut is a San Francisco based writer and comedian. She has performed in SF SKetchfest, SheDot Comedy Festival, Lysistrata Comedy Festival, Mutiny Radio Festival and the World Series of Comedy. She created "Giraffe Corner", a weekly video series where stuffed giraffes have therapy. And she is LOL...Little Old Lesbian on Instagram reels with guidelines for living your best neurotic life. She lives with her cat and an unprecedented number of giraffes.

Named one of the Best Comics To Watch by SF Weekly, Ben Feldman's acerbic wit is provocative yet playful, delivered with glints of absurdity as he teeters back and forth along the thick line between aggression and charm. Ben features regularly at the San Francisco Punchline, Sacramento Punchline, Cobb's, and throughout California and the West Coast. He has featured for Norm MacDonald, Robin Williams, Phil Hanley, Jeff Dye, Tom Rhodes, Mike Birbiglia, Chris Kattan, and Bobby Slayton to name a few.
Cathy Zhao is an English-Mandarin bilingual SF based comedian who blends history, politics, pop culture, and technology trends with her immigrant experience. She opened multiple times for Margaret Cho, Natasha Leggero, Bob Nelson, Joe Wong, Jerry Rocha, Will Durst, Francesca Fiorentini, Matt Lieb, Scott Capurro, Taylor Williams, and more. She won Second Place in East Bay Comedy Competition and North America Standup Comedy Competition in Chinese Mandarin. In addition to the San Jose Improv, Chicago Laugh Factory, Jimmy Kimmel’s, Denver Comedy Works, Atlanta Laughing Skull, Punchline, Cobb's, SF Comedy Day, SF Sketchfest, SF Fringe, Gotham Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, Detroit Women Comedy Festival, Don’t Tell Comedy, Cathy has also performed in Germany, Austria, Italy, and over 15 clubs in China and was the first comedian to perform at SF FBI headquarters. She co-founded Laughitouthub.org, a 501(c)3 non-profit to empower the mental well-being of teenagers with humor in the format of standup comedy and improvisation.
Inanç "Ino" Karaçaylak is an award-winning storyteller who has been performing comedy for 15 years. He is filming his long-awaited comedy special titled "Aggravated Ethnic Merman." His comedy draws on navigating language barriers as a foreign exchange student from Turkey, his career as an ocean kitesurfing instructor, and his insights on becoming a U.S. citizen as a "brown guy". He is known for his quick wit and brilliant crowd work, engaging with the audience and creating memorable interactions. Karaçaylak also co-hosts the monthly StorySlam Oakland show at The Sound Room.
