About this Event
Join us for a chartered trip to the Seattle Aquarium and lunch at Ivar’s Acres of Clams, taking place Saturday, July 25th.
Spots are limited. Registration closes on Friday, July 3rd, at 10 p.m. CST, or until sell-out. Details below.
***1st: Meet at the Courtyard by Marriott Seattle Federal Way – Seattle Charter***
Where: Courtyard by Marriott – 31910 Gateway Center Blvd. S, Federal Way, WA
Time: 9:30 a.m. boarding charter bus. 10 a.m. takeoff to Seattle
Dress Code: Business Casual though we do recommend comfortable shoes for walking and layers in case of inclement weather. We'll take lots of pictures. Bring your sunblock, hats, and sunglasses.
Parking: You will park in the hotel parking lot. Your Community Outreach Advisor will have a parking permit you can add to the dash of your vehicle. Parking cost is covered by WoodmenLife.
***2nd: Lunch at Ivar’s Acres of Clams in Seattle***
Where: Ivar’s Acres of Clams on Pier 54 - 1001 Alaskan Wy Ste. 102
Time: 11a.m. lunch reservation
About: Lunch and non-alcoholic beverages included. Lunch will be your choice of soup or salad to start, entrees include Fish ‘n Chips, Blackened Wild Salmon Caesar Salad, Chicken Saltimbocca, Vegetarian Pasta, or Ivan’s Bacon Burger, followed by dessert. You will make your entrée selections during registration and please note any allergies.
***3rd: Group Visit to the Seattle Aquarium***
Where: Seattle Aquarium - 1483 Alaskan Way, Pier 59, Seattle, WA 98101
Time: 1p.m. We’ll leave the restaurant by 12:30/12:45 p.m. and head to the aquarium.
About: The Seattle Aquarium, located on Piers 59 and 60 on the downtown waterfront, is a premier marine conservation and education center focused on the Salish Sea and Washington waters. It features major exhibits like the Window on Washington Waters, sea otter habitats, and the new 2024 Ocean Pavilion, highlighting species from the Coral Triangle.
Registration: All guests must register online using this Eventbrite page. Tickets will not be held. This will be a popular event and tickets will be on a first-come basis. YOU DO NOT NEED TO PRINT ANYTHING AFTER YOU REGISTER ON EVENTBRITE. We’ll get you checked-in while loading onto the charter bus.
Very Important: The Seattle Aquarium is a cashless venue. Only credit and debit cards will be accepted for purchases on all items such as gift shop merchandise and café snacks.

Please note: Senior Day events are exclusively for our members and their guests who are 55 and older. To all our wonderful “young’uns” who don’t quite meet that criteria yet – we apologize! Just remember, this is one club you’re guaranteed to join someday, and we’ll be ready for you when you do.
