WoodmenLife Midwest Family Day 2026 - Des Moines, IA

***Join Us for a Fun-Filled Day at the Iowa State Fair!***

Our group will gather for breakfast at Cattlemen’s Beef Quarters.

9-9:45 a.m. – Breakfast and Check-In

Event Details

Get ready for an exciting day at the famous Iowa State Fair! About two weeks prior to the our event, we will email your admission ticket pdf. When you arrive, please have this printed and available for scanning. Then head over to Cattlemen’s Beef Quarters for breakfast with our WoodmenLife group. You'll make your breakfast selection and note any allergies during registration.

Breakfast options include your choice of:

• Breakfast burrito, or
• Breakfast plate with pancakes, sausage, and eggs

During breakfast, we will also distribute:

• Ride wristbands
• Optional additional ride tickets
• WoodmenLife T-shirts (for those who ordered one)

At 10 a.m., our WoodmenLife group will help display a 30x60 ft. American flag on Grand Avenue during the State Fair’s National Anthem ceremony. If you’re able, please join us after breakfast to assist with the flag presentation. Instructions will be shared during breakfast.

Be sure to bring:

• Sunblock
• Hats
• Sunglasses

Parking Information

Parking is available in the A, B, and C Lots off University Avenue for $10.

Fairgoers may also use the Blue Line Parking Shuttle at no cost. The shuttle runs from designated stops in the A, B, and C lots to the admission gates.
