A New Years celebration to remember - Dec 29, 2025 – Jan 1, 2026, The Woodlands® Resort presents its inaugural Songwriters Festival – three days dedicated to the craft of storytelling through music. This all-inclusive experience includes luxurious resort accommodations, all food & beverage throughout the three-day festival, and access to intimate performances and curated experiences.
Featuring 24 acclaimed songwriters alongside headlining performances by Darryl Worley, The Frontmen and Neal McCoy.
December 29 – A Grand Opening
Begin with an elegant evening reception and dinner—an all-inclusive culinary journey “around the world” with top-shelf pairings. Savor in Wild Boar Arancini with Mole Poblano; Crispy Chicken Lollipops with Mango-Jalapeño Jam and Sticky Coconut Rice; and Braised Beef Short Rib with Confit Potatoes, Peppercorn Demi, and Caramelized Pearl Onions. The night crescendos with headliner Darryl Worley, setting the tone and kicking off the celebration in true Texas style.
December 30 – Immersive Experiences
Savor an extravagant brunch of Texas favorites—a Biscuit & Grits Bar with unique toppings and condiments, a house-smoked whole-bacon carving station, and additional hearty entrées. The experience continues to unfold with intimate songwriter sessions, where acclaimed artists share stories and songs that inspire. Between intimate songwriter sessions, enjoy themed breaks and indulgent lunches. Evening brings another global dinner featuring Tomahawk Steaks, Beef Tenderloin, Seafood, Sushi, and Pasta—crafted to delight the senses—followed by an electrifying headline performance by The Frontmen.
December 31 – A Night to Remember
Savor songwriter sessions and exceptional culinary offerings throughout the day, culminating in a dazzling five-course plated gala dinner. Raise a glass as Neal McCoy takes the stage, then ring in the New Year beneath a breathtaking aerial celebration that lights up the sky. Cap the evening with a fully loaded dessert bar for every sweet tooth.
January 1 – A Fond Farewell
Conclude with an elaborate farewell brunch: a hydration station of fresh juices, House-Smoked Salmon, a Carvery, Tex-Mex delights, and craft offerings—a final moment to reflect, connect, and toast to memories made.
