Woodland Women's Circle
Join us for a magical gathering at Shining Cliff Woods! The Woodland Women's Circle is a special event where we come together to share, listen and connect with nature, ourselves and each other.
This in-person event offers a safe space for women of all ages to unwind, recharge, and find inspiration. Whether you're seeking solace, friendship, or simply a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life, the Woodland Women's Circle is the perfect opportunity to nurture your mind, body, and soul.
When you arrive at the woodland car park (please look out for the directions and parking information which you will receive in your booking confirmation) there is a short walk along a woodland path to our fire circle, this gives you chance to slow down, breathe and leave any stress behind as the woodland supports and holds you in it's calming atmosphere.
From the car park, look for the wheelbarrows across the path. Walk past these barrows and continue along the path for a few minutes until you reach a finger post sign and path on the right. Follow that path and you have almost found us. But don't worry, there will be signs out to help you reach us.
Once we are all seated in our fire circle we will take a few moments to connect with the space and focus our minds and our breath on the present moment.
We then open up the circle for sharing and listening. A chance to share your story if you choose too. A chance to just be in the space. Sometimes we may offer a theme, other times we just go with the flow.
We listen to each other with kindness and respect and ask that anything shared is not taken out of the circle by others or repeated elsewhere. This is a safe space.
Please remember that we will be outdoors for the whole session. Wrap up warm and bring a drink, snacks and anything that will make you feel comfortable. We will be seated on logs and rocks at a fire circle. A sit mat is useful if you have one or just a carrier bag if the ground is wet. A waterproof is always a good idea.
Please note that there is not a toilet. Wild wee behind a tree are the facilities on offer!
