Are you a new woodland owner or considering buying a woodland? Curious about how to manage your land sustainably, support biodiversity or simply want to develop your knowledge around trees. Or are you seeking how to generate income? Join our flagship two-day course in the heart of our 120-acre woodland, led by the Graham Morgan of SlimWoods CIC.
A mixture of classroom based and practical demonstrations in the woods, the course will cover, among other things:
• your responsibilities and the legal stuff;
• where to find funding, incl. Countryside Stewardship;
• hands-on demonstrations of tree management;
• advice on how to boost biodiversity and conservation;
• the real-world costs and income options from managing a
woodland.
Graham will share his wealth of knowledge and experience and will be on hand to give personal advice on your woodland.
No prior experience or specialist knowledge required – just bring boots, weatherproofs, and curiosity.
