Link Crew Freshman Welcome Event

ALL INCOMING 9TH GRADE STUDENTS ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND

We’re excited to welcome your student to Woodcreek High School! Our 9th Grade Orientation Day on Thursday, July 30th is designed to help your child begin high school with confidence and connection.

Date: Thursday, July 30

Location: Woodcreek High School

• 8:30 AM – 8:45 AM | Arrival & Cashless Spirit Gear Shopping: Families arrive; shop the online Woodcreek Web Store on your mobile device. Items are for pick-up only, no shipping to home.
• 8:45 AM – 12:00 PM | Student Orientation (Students Only): Freshmen head to the Large Gym with WHS staff and Link Crew leaders. (No backpacks; comfortable clothes; phones off/away).
• 8:45 AM – 9:45 AM | Parent Meeting (Parents Only): Parents meet in the WHS Theater. (Not mandatory, but helpful! Parents must depart campus promptly at 9:45 AM).
• 12:00 PM (Noon) | Chromebook Distribution & Student Pickup: Parents return to campus to meet students, collect Chromebooks, and shop for remaining spirit gear.

• Attendance Policy: This event is strictly for registered Woodcreek freshmen. No siblings, guests, or outside friends, please.
• Can’t Attend? If your student misses orientation, your child will stop by the WHS front office on the first day of school. They will receive necessary items and someone to walk them to class.
• School Pictures: Student pictures will not be taken at orientation; they will happen during a regular school day.
• Accommodations: For students needing specific staff support (feeding/bathrooming), please note it on the registration form or email [email protected].

Please register your student immediately so we can prepare their materials and ensure a smooth, welcoming experience.

(Note: Students must register for orientation. No registration is required for the parent meeting.)
