Wood You Be Mine Release Day Celebration with Daphne Elliot
About this Event
Celebrate release day with romance author Daphne Elliot!
In conversation with fellow romance author Brittanée Nicole, Daphne will unpack the steamy small-town romance filled with flirty banter, sexy flannel, and plenty of heart. When a determined elementary school principal moves in next door to grumpy lumberjack Henri Gagnon, things get off to a slightly disastrous start, involving a near-burned-down cabin, an argument with a moose, and eventually, one very memorable naked encounter. With one year to prove herself and save her job, she definitely does not have time to pine over her flannel-clad landlord, especially when he looks that good chopping wood.
Sit back and enjoy a discussion of all things small-town romance, found family, irresistible chemistry, and the men who fall first!
Following the conversation, stick around for a meet and greet with the author! Daphne will sign Wood You Be Mine as well as up to two titles brought from home. She has offered to add a personalization to one book.
This event will feature the stunning first-edition Wood You Be Mine paperback with gorgeous plaid stenciled edges!

About The Author
In high school, Daphne Elliot was voted “most likely to become a romance novelist.” After spending the last decade as a corporate lawyer, she has finally embraced her destiny. Her small-town steamy novels have earned her the reader title of “Queen of the Lumbersnacks” and are filled with flirty banter, sexy flannel, and lots and lots of heart. She lives in New England with her husband, two kids, a 100lb dog, backyard chickens, and an increasingly concerning collection of decorative axes.
About Wood You Be Mine
The first time I met the grumpy lumberjack next door, I almost burnt down his cabin.
The second time, I was in an argument with a moose (don’t ask).
The third time, I was naked.
Henri Gagnon is not just my neighbor and landlord, but a flannel-clad foe who helps run his family’s lumber business. His protective streak clearly does not apply to me, since he’s convinced I won’t make it through the Maine winter.
But I’m going to show Henri and the rest of this small town that they’re wrong. I have one year to prove myself as the elementary school’s principal or I’ll be getting the axe.
So I simply just don’t have time to pine away for the lumberjack next door, no matter how good he looks chopping wood in his suspenders, or the way it makes me feel when he calls me buttercup.
I definitely don’t have time to wonder what would happen if I asked him if he wood be mine...
