Wood Carving: Intermediate Level Class

An Introduction to human face carving - Intermediate Level.
In this class, instructor, Steve Hunter will cover some basic proportion "rules", techniques and help the students carve a human face in basswood.
Prerequisites include completion of the beginner-level class, a sharp knife, a cut-resistant glove, a thumb guard, and the desire to have fun and make cool stuff.
With the class registration, two additional carving tools will be provided to add to their beginner set, a specialized strop for those new tools, the basswood blocks needed for the class project and one to work on later, and a face study stick showing the detailed progression of carving a face. Undeniably a great value and a great time!
