Wood Burned Birdhouses

Let’s get ready for SPRING! Design your own bird house. In this class you will learn how to wood burn on a natural gourd. Once you complete burning the design into your gourd, your instructor will provided different coloring supplies to bring your bird house to life. In addition, you will receive tips on how to seal the exterior and tips on maintaining the gourd both outside and inside your home.
Class includes:
Natural gourd approximately 5”-6” in diameter and 6”-7” in height. All gourds will be cleaned and ready to use.

Pencils
Transfer paper
Wood burning
Cord to hang your bird house
Acrylic and/or alcohol ink pens
Other color dyes to choose from
Paint brushes
Mask
Nitrate gloves sizes medium and small
Plastic apron.
Student can bring:
Cloth apron
Stencil if you wish
