We’re buzzing to welcome one of Mixmaster Mike’s favourite DJs back to Chew’s Yard for a very special vinyl-only set.

World champion turntablist DJ Woody will be digging deep into the crates for an extended set packed with Hip Hop, Latin, Funk, Disco, Jazz and Breaks.
Described as “the best DJ in the world” by Hudson Mohawke and labelled a genius by DJ Qbert, Woody is one of the UK’s most influential turntablists. A 2x World Champion, he helped design the world’s first musical turntable instrument the Vestax Controller One and is recognised as a pioneer of modern scratch techniques.
He has recorded for labels including Ninja Tune, BBE, Universal, Jazz Fudge, Tokyo Dawn, Chopped Herring, Passenger, Twisted Nerve and Jack to Phono, and has performed in more than 40 countries at venues ranging from the Nokia Theatre in Times Square to a Bollywood film studio in Mumbai.
