"Threshold" – a word imbued with both anticipation and potential. It signifies the liminal space where beginnings take root, and where the ripple effects of change begin to unfold. A point of both arrival and departure, it represents the delicate balance between stasis and transformation.

At the 2025 WFDW Miami, we embrace this potent theme. We recognize the unexpected beauty that can emerge from disruption – the calm that follows the storm, the fertile ground nurtured by a creative "crash." As with design, life itself is a series of thresholds. Recognizing when we stand on the cusp of the next level fosters the resilience and determination to push beyond boundaries, to embrace the unknown and create the future we envision.
