Rising first – third graders are invited to participate in Wonder Wednesdays at Roswell UMC on the first and third Wednesdays of the month (June 2, June 16, July 7, and July 21) from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
We will meet on the Roswell UMC Commons (greenspace between the buildings) and engage in Bible story, worship, games, and crafts. During our time together, we will be engage faith with wonder, love, and kindness.
Children should wear a mask, already have sunscreen on, and bring a water bottle labeled with their name. Children will be required to wear a mask when we are engaging in close, small group discussion or activities. They will be allowed to remove their masks for activities in which we are spaced out and when we’re eating/drinking. We will give specific directions regarding mask wearing during the event.
Temperatures will be taken upon arrival. Parents must check-in and check out their child at the designated area. We will have 30 spots each day.
We will gather for lunch at the end of the day. We will spread out on the commons to enjoy our lunch. You may pack your child’s lunch or purchase a boxed lunch of chicken nuggets, mac ‘n cheese, and fruit salad from the kitchen. If purchasing a lunch, please select one for each day you want one.
Families can sign up for more than one week as their schedule allows and as spots are available.
