Jeffersonville JiuJitsu Academy is excited to welcome back Felecia Bain on January 25th, 2025 for a special Women’s Only Self Defense Seminar from 10 am -1 pm.This training is "For Women By Women" and led by Felecia Bain, an experienced and credentialed self-defense instructor (bio in comments). Felecia does not teach gimmicks or flashy techniques for follows and likes. She teaches real-world techniques that, simply put, are designed to prevent a physical attack and stop a physical threat.
This self-defense training is appropriate for:
* women of all ages and fitness levels
* female high school and college students
* any woman over the age of 15
* female law enforcement officers
* any woman seeking to prevent or stop an attack
Why should you, your wife, your daughter, or your friends attend?
* 1 in 3 women have experienced physical domestic violence
* 1 in 5 women have been raped
* 43.9% have experienced sexual assault other than rape
* Over 20% of female high school students were assaulted by a dating partner
* Over 43% of college women were physically assaulted by a dating partner
* Forcible sex offenses at colleges have increased over 350% since 2009
PRICE:
The cost is minimal and all money collected is donated to a local women’s charity. The women’s charity will be announced immediately after the seminar.
The cost is as follows:
* Before 1/24/2025: $15 per person OR $5 if you are an active college or HS student
* On 1/25/2025:: $20 all attendees at the door
The only way to receive the discounted rate is to prepay. Only 50 spots are available so only prepaid registrants are guaranteed a spot. Those paying at the door will be offered a spot on a first come, first serve basis until capacity is reached.
